Our Mission

SheIgnite Foundation exists to expand access to the knowledge, skills, and learning environments that support economic mobility and long-term stability. We serve ambitious first-generation college graduates and entrepreneurs who are building careers, businesses, and legacy without inherited blueprints for wealth or leadership.

Through structured financial fluency and professional development workshops, we move women beyond exposure to information and into real-time application, strengthening their ability to increase income, build assets, and advance strategically.

OUR PROGRAMS

Financial Fluency & Professional Development Workshops

SheIgnite Foundation offers quarterly public education and applied learning programs intentionally designed to advance economic mobility for first-generation women, many of whom are the first in their families to earn degrees, navigate corporate careers, or build businesses.

Our financial education workshops move beyond basic budgeting and address the realities of women who were not raised in households where investing, credit strategy, compensation negotiation, or long-term wealth planning were modeled. Through applied learning, participants strengthen income planning, credit management, debt reduction strategies, savings structure, and confident financial decision-making rooted in their real-life circumstances.

In addition, the Foundation delivers career readiness and professional development programming that supports women across stages of growth. These workshops strengthen workplace communication, professional presence, strategic planning, and navigation of corporate and entrepreneurial environments, particularly for women who did not grow up with exposure to these systems at home.

Each program is designed to be accessible, actionable, and grounded in real-world application, ensuring participants are not only introduced to financial and professional tools, but are supported in applying them to increase income, stability, and long-term opportunity.

Our Workshop Facilitators

Our workshop facilitators are carefully selected professionals who lead applied learning experiences designed to advance women’s economic mobility.

Each facilitator brings both technical expertise and practical insight in areas such as financial fluency, professional advancement, entrepreneurship, and leadership development. They understand the realities of navigating growth without inherited blueprints, and they teach with clarity, structure, and high standards.

Workshops are intentionally designed for active engagement. Participants are guided through real-time application, strategic thinking, and skill development. Ensuring that learning moves beyond theory and into meaningful action.

Jalen Blackmon is an experienced financial professional who helps individuals and families build, preserve, and transfer generational wealth. His work centers on practical, personalized guidance that supports both long term goals and day to day financial needs, whether navigating complex planning decisions or major life transitions.
